This term, our topic is ‘The Seaside – Then and Now’.  We will be learning about what the seaside was like in the past and comparing it to what the seaside is like now.

General reminders:

-Pupils will continue to be set literacy and maths home learning on SeeSaw every Monday.

-Whale class will begin their swimming lessons – these will be on a Monday.

 

Special events:

-Pupils will be having a special ‘seaside themed’ morning at school on Friday 18th June. On this day pupils are invited to come to school wearing clothes that they would wear on a trip to the seaside.

 

-Pupils will be visiting Chichester Harbour in order to explore and learn about the different habitats there on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th June (you will be informed which day your child will be on the trip)

Reports will be sent home on Monday 12th July

-Pupils will meet their new class teacher on Tuesday 13th and Thursday 15th July

Last day of the term and an early finish on Friday 23rd July
